Gabe, Ali, Nelly & Jason!: April 2011

Wow! I have been totally neglecting the ol' blog! I can't believe I haven't posted any photos of Gabe since he was born...and he is almost 7 months old! Well, what can I say, having two little munchkins following you around all the time will keep you busy!

Ali is on my heels as always, and as soon as I turn my back on her she sneaks into the office, climbs into my chair, and starts banging away on the keyboard.

Gabe is very restless these days because he is just at that point where he can turn over but he can't quite crawl yet. He will roll over on his side or on his stomach and get stuck and he gets very frustrated! The little guy is just sick of laying around in one place but he isn't quite mobile yet...

So, my intention with this post will be to get caught up by showing some highlights from the past few months. Here goes!!!

Ali is as silly as usual...

...of course she's cute, though!

If you can believe it, I actually ran a 15 K last Sunday! I have never been much of a runner, and working in front of the computer all the time creates some bad habits since I spend most of my time sitting on my bum, so this event was a good excuse to try to get into shape. It was lost of fun, they closed down a large portion of historical downtown Cuenca and it was nice to run through it without any cars or pollution for a change. And if you can believe it, I actually survived! (1:38)

Gabe is turning over now without any problems...

...and of course we can't forget about Ali!!!

We bought a small lot in the country, and you should be able to make out the division by the water meters (in front of the fancy house, not the fancy house). We recent sold another lost that we had about ten minutes outside of the city and so we have been looking around for something else to invest in.
